Thanks to a generous grant from the Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP) of Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC), the Karis building received extensive energy efficiency improvements that will help us reduce our energy use and costs. The funding for NEEP is provided by the Denver Office of Strategic Planning. EOC contracted with the International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology (ICAST) to make the initial assessment of our energy needs and with Sun Power to install the energy efficiency measures. All of us at Karis Community give our grateful thanks to this coalition of nonprofits and local government for helping us do our part to sustain a healthy environment!
